Removing blood stains from sofa covers
Blood stains can be stubborn, and they are particularly annoying on high-quality upholstery covers.
It is important to act immediately when you notice the blood stain! The more liquid the blood is, the less it has coagulated and the easier it is to remove the stain. During the coagulation process, the blood bonds with the leather and cleaning is more difficult. While a fresh blood stain can simply be removed with cold water, a dried blood stain can only be removed with special cleaning agents.
Please note that different cleaning methods are used for each upholstery material (leather | fabric | artificial leather)!
In the case of blood stains, you should always react IMMEDIATELY and wash the stain out with cold water as a first aid measure.
Subsequent cleaning is then carried out with KERALUX® Cleaner Active Plus and final care with KERALUX® Care Lotion P.

Removing blood stains from artificial leather
1. Wash out the blood stain IMMEDIATELY with cold water. Be careful not to clean too wet. Always work over a large area, from seam to seam. Use a soft, clean cotton cloth and clean with light pressure. If you have distilled water at home, use this to avoid unsightly limescale marks. If not, use normal tap water.
2. Then clean with the SEDICUR® Cleaner and treat the artificial leather with the SEDICUR® Hydro Fluid. Both products are available in the SEDICUR® Care Set.
3. If you want to protect the artificial leather, apply SEDICUR® Strong Protector after one day.
