Removing mould stains on the couch
Mould stains on upholstered furniture are not only unsightly, but also hazardous to health. Therefore, do not wait until entire mould colonies are visible, but act at the first signs of mildew stains.
Proceed as follows, depending on the upholstery fabric:
PIGMENTED SMOOTH LEATHER / SEMI-ANILINE
If the mould is only on the surface, mix KERALUX® Strong Cleaner with 2-3% vinegar essence or 5% white vinegar. Use this to clean the mould-infested area. Then wipe thoroughly, allow to dry and finally treat with KERALUX® Care Lotion P. The recommended products are available here:
Highly effective yet gentle leather cleaner.
- For removing heavy water-soluble stains from everyday life
- Ideal for food and beverage stains such as coke, ketchup, ice cream, etc.
- Dermatologically tested with "very good", solvent-free
- Suitable for all types of leather
Regenerating care with rich formula of active ingredients. Optimally suited to pigmented smooth leather and semi-aniline. The lotion nourishes the leather after cleaning:
- important moisture to prevent drying out

- dermatologically tested and rated "very good"
However, if the mould stains are already very deep in the leather, thorough and complete cleaning is unfortunately no longer possible. For health reasons in particular, it is advisable to dispose of the upholstered furniture in such cases.
ANILINE (natural leather)
