What is Saddle Leather?

Smooth, lightly waxed and pleasant to the touch - that's what Saddle leather feels like. This type of smooth leather impresses above all with its pleasant, warm and waxy feel.

Traces of use such as scratches etc. are often unavoidable on the waxed surface. Regular and proper care is therefore particularly important for saddle leather.

How do I care for Saddle leather?

In addition to the waxy surface, a typical feature is a patina that becomes visible after some time. This effect is intentional.

Optimal care set

The KERALUX^® Leather Care Set S is ideal for the regular cleaning and care of saddle leather (leather with a waxed surface).

The KERALUX^® Soft Cleaner gently yet thoroughly removes dirt particles from the pores of the leather. The KERALUX^® Care Lotion S can then be ideally absorbed. This provides the leather with optimum moisture and refatting and thus maintains the waxy, special grip.

Cleaning & care tips

Dust your leather furniture regularly with the special LCK Cleaning Glove.
Do not use a coarse microfibre cloth, as this could damage the leather surface.
Soak up spilled liquids immediately with a dry cloth - do not rub.
Any remaining light grease stains will gradually soak into the leather - please do nothing further!
