PURATEX® Care Set for textile upholstery
The PURATEX® Care Set is ideally suited for the regular maintenance care of textile upholstered furniture.
This box contains all you need for professional care of your textile upholstery: For regular cleaning, use the cleaning glove with the Cleaning Water. If you discover stains, you can remove them with the Strong Cleaner. With the Protection Spray you can renew the impregnation of your upholstery twice a year.
- all textile upholstery covers made of natural or synthetic fibres, e.g. flat woven fabric, pile fabric, microfibre, non-woven fabrics.
- Not suitable for covers made of silk.
1. REGULAR CLEANING
Vaccum the upholstery first (use a soft and clean brush of the vaccum-cleaner max. 500 watt). Then put some PURATEX® Cleaning Water on the Cleaning Glove and wipe the textile upholstery with the damp glove. So you can remove superficial soilings from daily use and your upholstery stays beautiful for a long time. In order to avoid any lime deposits, always use distilled water. The Cleaning Glove is washable up to 60 °C (please do not use fabric softener).
2. STAIN REMOVING WITH PURATEX® STRONG CLEANER
Stain removing
Put the PURATEX® Strong Cleaner on a cloth and treat the stain carefully from the edges to the centre. Do not treat
only the stain, but always a bigger area. Once you removed the stain, clean the whole area from seam to seam with the
PURATEX® Cleaning Water and the Cleaning Glove. Let dry well and protect with the PURATEX® Protection Spray. To remove
greasy stains, use the PURATEX® Degreaser Spray.
3. PROTECTION WITH PURATEX® PROTECTION SPRAY
To protect your textile upholstery against stains and soiling, we recommend to impregnate it with the PURATEX® Protection
Spray twice a year after cleaning. Shake bottle well before use. Spray on from a distance of 30 cm, thinly and evenly.
Keep the bottle as vertical as possible and avoid impregnation dripping onto the upholstered furniture. Let dry well. Please
take into consideration that the full protection-effect will only be ensured after 24 hours!
