Code of conduct
LCK GmbH respects the principles of the UN and International Labor Organization (ILO) listed below and adheres to them.
We expect our employees, contractors and suppliers to adhere to the same principles and to apply the basic social requirements in their companies.
All products will be manufactured under conditions that comply with these:
- UN Principles on the Rights of the Child Article 32.
- Ten fundamental ILO principles numbered 29, 87, 98, 100, 105, 111, 135, 138, 154 and 182 (see below)
- All labor-related health and safety regulations in the country of manufacture.
- Labor laws, minimum wage laws and social security laws in the country of manufacture.

We respect human rights as defined by the United Nations.
Principles and rights at work
- National legislation
We comply with the legislation of the country in which we operate. This defines the minimum requirements for working conditions. If the national legislation sets higher requirements than those of the ILO or the general human rights of the UN, then the national laws must be followed. - The abolition of child labor (ILO 138 and 182)
Child labor, as defined by the International Labour Organization (ILO), is not permitted. - Abolition of forced labor (ILO 29 and 105)
Forced labor is not accepted.No discrimination (ILO 100 and 111)
We do not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, religion, social background, disability, political opinion or sexual orientation.
Reasonable wages and working hours
Wages are paid directly to the employee on time and in full. The lowest acceptable wage level is the minimum wage in accordance with national legislation.
The weekly working hours do not exceed the legal limit.
Freedom of association and collective bargaining (ILO 87,98,135 and 154)
In countries where freedom of association is restricted or under development, ensure that workers can meet with management to discuss wages and working conditions without negative consequences.
Environmental protection
We strive to reduce the consumption of energy and resources as well as waste and emissions into the atmosphere, soil and water and to use chemicals in such a way that they are safe for people and the environment.
Health and safety
We provide a safe working environment that complies with international standards. Employees shall be informed of all health risks associated with their work. All employees have access to and use appropriate safety equipment.
